Here are the steps to download: Select either Download: EndNote X9 for Windows or Download: EndNote X9 for Mac; Sign in with your NTU credentials and click on the Digital Version(s) link; Click on the Download link found at the bottom of the page.   1. Download EndNote for Windows.
  2. Locate the downloaded EndNote zip file and right-click on it to extract the folder contained within it. Do not simply double-click the zip file.
  3. Open the 'EndNoteXWin' folder; double-click 'ENXInst.msi' and follow the installation directions.
  4. After installing EndNote, copy the files from EndNoteXWinNU_ToolkitConnections folder to the appropriate folder on your computer. A common location for this folder is C:Program FilesEndNote XConnections.

  4. After installing EndNote, move the files from Connections folder contained in NU_Tookit folder in the 'EndNoteXMac' folder to your Applications -> EndNote X -> Connections folder.
